We are encouraging everyone associated with our church to join in THY KINGDOM COME which is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension (May 9th) to Pentacost (May 19th).
It began in 2016 and is now a movement which unites more than a million Christians in prayer, in nearly 90% of countries worldwide , across 85 different denominations and traditions. We are all encouraged to pray during these eleven days in our own way, and specifically to pray that God’s Spirit might work in the lives of five people who have nor responded with their ‘Yes’ to God’s call.
In church today everyone was given two booklets-the NOVENA which has an inspirational reflection for each day, and the PRAYER JOURNAL which has a brief thought for each day.
You also have some leaflets that you might like to use with your children or grandchildren, or any others that may you know. The booklets also have links to online videos and other resources which can be accessed through your smartphone using the QR code printed in them, or you cab find the same material by going directly to the website (www.thykingdomcome.global). There is also an app for your smartphone-just look for Thy Kingdom Come
